A new model for society

We have initiated the development of a “Blueprint for Denmark” to provide the basis for a public exhibition and sustainability laboratory that will develop frameworks for sustainable societies of the future and serve as a global role model.

To this end, we have gathered a unique group of investors and experts that have agreed to co-author the Blueprint for Denmark and contribute towards producing the leaps in innovation that are needed in order to tackle pressing challenges of the coming decade.

The Blueprint for Denmark sets out to build on many existing sustainable practices and solutions. Developing from this point of departure, it will identify synergies and prioritise a number of select opportunities with the aim of finding coherent and systemic answers to complex challenges facing societies and communities around the globe.

A new story about Denmark...

The many sustainable initiatives that are already under development, and the new perspectives Blueprint for Denmark opens up encompass a story about progressive thinking, leaps in innovation, courage and leadership. It is a story of the profound difference small nations can make.

Erik Rasmussen Services Founder of Sustainia

"Climate change and a global pandemic are currently challenging our way of life to an unprecedented extent. They will test our capacity to transform even the greatest risks into new opportunities and breakthroughs. Hence, the global crises could be a historic turning point and an opportunity for Denmark. This opportunity is about a shift in our mindset, a strengthening of our resilience and ability to innovate."

Can we find stability in changing times?

One thing seems certain: the climate crisis and the disruptive force of COVID-19 will not only change conditions for human life around the globe, but will also change the norms that have bolstered societies and communities for decades. As such, these dynamic challenges have marked the advent of a more turbulent reality.
Can we find stability and gain resilience in a windy sea? The Blueprint for Denmark will start the journey.

We have an urgent need to develop a way of life that does not continue to swallow the planet's finite resources. If Sustainia World can help solve that challenge by finding the balance between a good and sustainable life and spreading that message, the project can make an important difference for generations, which is why I have gladly offered to support and advise the ongoing process."
